City Girl turned 4-Season Backpacker based out of the Pacific Northwest
My Journey
I didn't go backpacking for the first time until 2019. I had hardly done camping at that point and rarely hiked more than 3 miles at a time.
In 2020, I moved from my home state of California to Washington, which really supercharged my relationship with the outdoors.
In 2022, I spent 25 total days backpacking, backpacked in the snow for the first time, and achieved a personal record of 22 miles hiked in a single day.
I'm sharing this because I'm a firm believer that if I can do it, anyone can!

My GOals
You know how some video game players need to explore every dungeon and open every treasure chest?
I'm kind of that way for National Parks.
I'm on a mission to hike every designated trail in Washington State's 3 iconic national parks (Mount Rainier National Park, Olympics National Park, and North Cascades National Park).
